Greeting from Kalingamitra!!!
Kalingamitra is an Ambedkarite organization of Odisha, working for students and youths from more than a decade. One of the prime objective of this organization is to encourage the students from marginalise communities to educate, agitate, and organize and carry forward the legacy of Ambedkarite movement in many ways. The organization organizes the career orientation programme for students to pursue higher education in different prestigious university/institution in India. The organization is phenomenally successful in motivating students to take education. Currently, there are several members of the organization who are pursuing their higher education in the central universities/institutions like JNU, New Delhi, TISS Mumbai, HCU, Hyderabad, APU Bangalore, Pondicherry University and so on. The organization’s activity is completely based on Ambedkarite public funding to assist the students and organize various events.

We are pleased to inform you that this year (2019) 08 students have been selected for the Post-Graduate Program at Azim Premji University (APU), Bangalore and TISS Mumbai and TISS Hyderabad. The financial condition of the students is not affordable to take admission into the program. All these students are coming from the backward districts of western Odisha, namely Kalahandi, Balangir and Subarnapur (Sonepur).

Therefore, we (Kalingamitra) would like to request for financial support to the selected students to get their admission possible in the respective universities. The total costs of all students come around INR 1,20,000/-(One lakh twenty thousand). The admission dates are very near, so we request everybody to share your contribution to help poor students.
