Laba Suna is contesting as MLA candidate from Bahujan Samaj Party, Patnagarh Constituency of Balangir District. Laba Suna is a Dalit Activist and Lawyer.

In 2012, people from Dalit community was brutally beaten up by Hindus in Lathor, Balangir. Upper Caste also burns down 54 Dalit houses. 54 Dalit families became homeless. This violence against Dalit was planned by RSS, BJP. One of the survivors of this caste atrocity was Laba Suna and his family. He and other activists actively organized the Dalit and fought for the Justice for the Lathor Dalit. He is an activist and working for the people.

Since 2012, he is active in the social movement in the region. He is actively involved in Ambedkarite politics. The Patnagarh constituency has been ruled by Singhdeo family from several decades. None of the sitting MLA has done anything to Dalit, Adivasi and marginalized people of the region. People of the regions have survives their livelihood through migrants. There is no occupation, and no jobs created by the parties.  The region is declared as caste atrocity prone area. Recently, when goondas of Bajrang Dal attacked Dalits who were selling the cow in Patnagarh, Laba Suna was in the forefront for the justice for them.

Laba Suna is the best candidate to fight against BJP, BJD, and Congress in the constituency. He would work for the people of Patnagarh constituency. He would be the voice of all marginalized people. He would fight against injustice.
